Rob Pattinson who played the brooding vampire in "Twilight" was hit by a car

Pattinson, 23, was hit on the hip by a car in front of a bookstore in Manhattan, where he was shooting his new movie "Remember Me". The British actor had five bodyguards and just tried to run past a group of teenage girls and cross the street to his trailer. One of his security guards yelled at the girls: "You see what you did, you almost killed him!". According to RadarOnline.com, which claimed to have witnessed the accident, he was not seriously injured. There is not official statement from his manager by now.
